Religion: Youngest Bishop

Steadfast in his policy of rapidly advancing energetic young priests (see above), the Pope last week appointed not only the youngest bishop in the U. S. but also the first in the world born in the 20th Century. He was Very Rev. Monsignor Raymond Augustine Kearney, 32. His posts: titular bishop of Lisinia (Asia Minor), auxiliary bishop of the diocese of Brooklyn, N.
