Medicine: Bone in Brain

A bone in the brain is an exceedingly rare freak. Yet it may happen when a cell from a cancerous bone floats through the blood and takes root in the brain. Last week the American Journal of Cancer carried the report of such a bone in the brain of a man who originally had a cancer in his left thigh bone.
