Snip, snip went the heralds of the Association of German Nobles last week pruning out members who cannot supply “irrefutable proof” that their ancestry is free of Jewish blood at least as far back as 1750.
“Our aim,” announced the association’s president, Prince Adolf von Bentheim-Tecklembourg, “is to array behind our leader Adolf Hitler that German nobility which is historically authenticated.”
