Three years ago Dr. John Van Antwerp MacMurray resigned as U. S. Minister to China to become director of a school which has neither faculty nor students—the Walter Mines Page School of International Relations, offspring of Johns Hopkins. Named for the famed scholar-diplomat who was once a Johns Hopkins postgradu ate fellow, the School was founded by popular subscription. Owen D. Young chairmanned a committee to raise $1.000,000.
