The 7th regiment of Marines was kept discreetly out of sight when President Roosevelt, accompanied by Relief Administrator Harry Hopkins and Private Secretary Marguerite Lehand, arrived at Quantico to board the U. S. S. Sequoia for a week-end of fishing down the Potomac.
