Last week Puisne Judge Lyman Poore Duff became the Canadian equivalent of Charles Evans Hughes, through his elevation to Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, succeeding Rt. Hon. Francis Alexander Anglin, brother of Actress Margaret Anglin, who died recently.
