Foreign News: Dislanded Gentry

To be listed in Burke's Landed Gentry one had to possess an estate of at least 1,000 acres and an authentic coat of arms. Recently Burke's reduced this requirement in view of the sale of so many estates. The new Burke's Landed Gentry includes many a name not up to the old standard. Even so it contains 1,000 names less than ten years ago.
