"Petty Treason"

Sirs:

In my opinion, kidnapping is one of the worst crimes in this nation. I think Col. Lindbergh, with the help of Mrs. Lindbergh missed the opportunity to put a stop to kidnapping. Had they refused to consider the criminals, regardless of the result to their son, it is safe to say the rest of us would have followed their example.
