The Board of Governors of Maryland's Howard County Hunt last week ruled
that members of the club "cannot chase foxes while under the influence
of liquor," that liquor drinking, while hunting, was a misdemeanor
punishable by suspension. Said President T. Stockton Matthews: "This is
not advanced ... in restraint of personal privileges but simply means
... a spirit of good sportsmanship,"
