Col. Jan Pilsudski, spruce, sleek-bearded, is the little brother of big Marshal Josef Pilsudski, walrus-mustached Dictator. Recently Col. Jan was made Finance Minister (TIME, June 8) and people wondered what he would do—for Col. Jan had had no previous fiscal experience whatever.
