TURKEY: Hubble-Bubble

Mustafa Kemal Pasha has taken the fez off Turkey's head, put on a hat instead; but even Dictator Kemal has not put a briar pipe in Turkey's mouth. Turks still smoke (at home or in coffee houses) the romantic, long-tubed, bubble-bubbling nargile.

In Istanbul last week the Turkish Chamber of Commerce received an order for "a hubble-bubble encrusted with pearls and diamonds" from the Berlin Chamber of Commerce.

Berlin has not gone hubble-bubble. Stiffly the B. C. C.'s corresponding secretary explained that he was referring to the T. C....
