Last week Farmer Porter wrote to David Sinton Ingalls, Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Aeronautics, to tell airmen who fly over his place "to land anywhere on me regardless of crops. You know with any rain at all you can grow a crop in three months, but it takes 21 years to grow a man. . ....
