The farmer who used to collect from motorists for running over his chickens now brings suit against aviators for damaging his crops by forced landings. But not Farmer E. S. Porter of Hot Springs, Va. Last week Farmer Porter wrote to David Sinton Ingalls, Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Aeronautics, to tell airmen who fly over his place "to land anywhere on me regardless of crops.
