Only those travelers lucky enough to find extra space available in a Boeing mail plane at Chicago have been able to fly from New York to San Francisco without an overnight stop. But beginning this week (April 1) through service with trimotored passenger planes is open to everyone, by virtue of new schedules on National Air Transport (New York-Chicago) and Boeing Air Transport (Chicago-San Francisco). Passengers leaving New York about 9 a. m. transfer at Chicago in midafternoon, fly all night (in darkness over lighted airway from Iowa City to Salt Lake City)...
