Up to last week the Governors General of British Dominions were still flying Union Jacks over their abodes. But the Jack is "too British" to suit some Dominions, especially South Africa. Therefore last week George V, obliging, approved the principle that each Governor General shall fly a distinctive flag— as fast as these can be designed.
