Art: Fog Palette

Last March Manhattan's Knoedler Galleries held an embarrassed showing of some of the works of Jules Pascin. The pictures were poorly chosen, the show was poorly attended, poorly criticized. It contributed more than a little to the melancholia which made life unbearable for Pascin himself. Last week was another Pascin exhibition at Manhattan's Downtown Gallery. Socialites, reporters, art critics flocked to it.
