Thus spoke Professor Ernest Malvoz of the University of Liege last week and Queen Elisabeth made no denial. To all appearances Her Majesty was suspicious of the Belgian Cabinet's official declaration that the deaths of 67 persons in the Meuse valley last fortnight were due solely to "cold fog" (TIME, Dec. 15).
