Westward from Washington across the continent by air mail last week sped two absentee ballots to be counted at Palo Alto, Calif, as part of the nation-wide election. The voters: Herbert Hoover, Lou Henry Hoover. Two years ago they journeyed across the country to vote in person for Herbert Hoover.
