National Affairs: Campaign Footnoter

Through Ohio and Indiana last week Vice President Charles Curtis, in company with G. O. P. Chairman Simeon Davison Fess, continued to add footnotes to the Republican Congressional campaign. At Yellow Springs, Ohio, he left this message: "Many people are wondering whether we are in danger of losing our high standard of living. I do not think so."

At Indianapolis he said: "Nobody can explain the present Depression . . . but some method will soon be found to end it."
