The pride of an investment bank is expressed in the size and number of bond syndicates in which it participates. Last week the Wall Street Journal tabulated the relative positions of houses whose names appeared in new offerings totaling more than $50,000,000 during the first half of the year. Of 122 houses in this classification, the 20 leaders were:
