¶Passed a bill to construct a naval hospital "at or in the vicinity of Philadelphia."

¶Recessed to receive Rear Admiral Richard Evelyn Byrd (see p. 18).

¶Passed the second deficiency bill, withholding all funds from President Hoover's Law Enforcement Commission.
