The U. S. is about to spend a quarter-billion dollars on new public buildings. Chicago is to have a $14,000,000 post office. Federal court houses and post offices will soon sprout throughout the Mid-West. Chicago builders hunger for these fat federal contracts. Charles Curtis is Vice President of the U. S. Harry King Curtis, his son, is a Chicago lawyer. Last week Assistant State's Attorney Richard Jackson at Chicago began to investigate charges that Son Curtis had taken some $10,000 in "fees" from Chicago builders on promises to obtain for them federal construction...
