Most traveled of U. S. publishers is Van Lear Black of the Baltimore Sun. In his own trimotored Fokker monoplane, accompanied by pilots, secretary and valet, he has pleasure-jaunted some 130,000 mi. through Europe, Africa, Asia and the U. S. Last week he arrived in San Francisco aboard the liner Tatsuta Maru with the plane and crew which had taken him 6,000 mi. from Croydon, England to Osaka, Japan.
