CRIME: Capone's Week

President Hoover, his voice half muffled in anonymity, gave newsmen at the White House a "background talk" fortnight ago on the Federal Government's plans for a great drive on underworldlings. He mentioned by name Alphonse ("Scarface Al") Capone, No. 1 gangster of the U. S., as the type of criminal the U. S. was trying to "reach."
