Since the perfection of the early form of talking pictures (sound-on-record), many companies have been experimenting with the photography of sound on the film itself. A new sound-on-film process worked out by Inventor Theodore Nakken, president of Nakken Corp., discards the use of a slit device for limiting the area of photographic sound on a film. Claiming sole rights to this method, and also to the sound-on-film device which employs the slit (Fox Movietone, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, RKO, Paramount), Nakken Corp. has requested an adjudication of patents from the U. S. Patent Office....
