¶ Passed a Bill authorizing expenditure of $10,000,000 on U. S. Navy yards, Navy stations,

¶ Passed a Bill authorizing reimbursement of $764,143.75 spent by New York City on troops sent to defend Washington in the Civil War.

¶ Passed the ($1,150,108,528) Treasury and Post Office Appropriation Bill, amended to prevent payment of rent on the St. Paul, Minn., post office

¶ Adopted a resolution creating a special committee to investigate senatorial campaign expenditures.

¶ Passed a $556,522,066 Independent Offices Appropriation Bill.
