S. fiscal autocrat, compelled Secretary of State Henry Lewis Stimson and the six other U. S. delegates to travel on the same ship to the London naval parley next month or pay their own expenses on another ship. Statesman Stimson had wanted to travel on the fast S. S. Bremen.
