¶ Agreed to the Senate's amendments to the cruiser-construction bill; sent it to the President.

¶ Passed a resolution .thanking the officers and men of the U. S. S. America for their rescue of the Italian freighter Florida.

¶ Passed a bill to improve Lincoln National Reservation (Kentucky).

¶ Debated and passed a $352,000,000 Navy Department appropriation bill.

¶ Debated and passed sundry Indian bills.

¶ Passed a bill creating an $8,000,000 system of 125 bird sanctuaries throughout the land.
