CATASTROPHE: Land of Cotton?

To W. S. Craig, president of the State Bank and Trust Co. at Tallulah, La., came last week a farmer. Last year this farmer had raised 500 bales of cotton. This year he hoped that he might make ten bales. That same morning another farmer had talked to Mr. Craig, had said that not a single bale of cotton would grow on his land this year.
