CONGRESS: The Legislative Week Mar. 15, 1926

The Senate—

¶ Adopted a resolution by Senator Norris requesting the Secretary of State to send to the Senate the still unrevealed correspondence between the U. S. and Mexico over the Mexican land laws.

¶ Debated a resolution to have a joint committee of both Houses of Congress negotiate a lease with private parties yet unknown for Muscle Shoals, the lease to be ratified or rejected by Congress.

¶ Passed the joint conference report of the first deficiency bill. (Bill went to the President.)
