On account of the Honduran civil war (TIME, Feb. 11, et seq.) the
Government of the U. S. severed diplomatic relations with Honduras. U.
S. Minister Morales remained at Tegucigalpa, however, making
unofficial effort to bring the rival political leaders together.
No important news bearing on the conduct of the revolution was reported.
