Harvard men throughout the world, dismayed by news that Professor Charles Townsend Copeland ("Copey") had resigned, took heart again last week. For a quarter century the light in Hollis 15 was a signal to Harvard generations that the wit of the Yard was receiving his friends, was perhaps also giving one of his famous impromptu readings.
