The Press: Anderson's Fun

Sherwood Anderson, famed writer,* must from now on keep his left hand from knowing what his right hand is doing. Last week he bought two country newspapers in Marion, Va. One is Republican; the other Democratic. Their combined circulations are about 5,000; they are weeklies. Separate sub-editors will direct them under Mr. Anderson. Included in the deal was a job printing plant which he will manage personally. To the New York World's query why he was doing this he answered:
