AERONAUTICS: Did Not Crush

An air freight left Hartford, Conn., last week and arrived in Havana, Cuba. It carried Royal typewriters. The carrier was a Ford-Stout all-metal, three-motor airplane. Included in the equipment was a device to drop freight by parachute. It dropped these typewriters from a height of 700 feet. Unbruised, they worked perfectly.
