Mrs. George W. Wightman met Miss Margaret Blake last week in the finals of the women's national indoor singles tennis tournament on the Longwood courts, Chestnut Hill, Mass. Superior headwork enabled Mrs. Wightman, mother of five, to tire her younger opponent early in the match; to win the championship, 6-0, 2-6, 6-4. A few minutes later Mrs. Wightman and Mrs. Marion Zinderstein Jessup lined up against Miss Blake and Miss Edith Sigourney in the doubles event finals.
