G. The President and Mrs. Coolidge held their annual reception for members of Congress.

¶ The President cabled Governor General Leonard Wood, a convalescent from an operation for hernia,, at Manila: "Earnestly hope for your quick, complete recovery. Glad your health good. Hope nothing interferes with the splendid services you are rendering."
