She emulates two San Francisco womenMrs. Mae Nolan, Mrs. Florence Kahnwho took their husbands' seats in Congress. Humphrey O'Sullivan (rubber heels) will run against her on the Democratic ticket. All Republican aspirants retired in her favor. Both Mrs. Kahn and Mrs. Rogers are widely known and well-liked at the Capital.
