Prince Naruhito, third son of the Emperor of Japan, who has been traveling! in Europe, cancelled a proposed visit to the U. S. No reason for the cancellation was given. The present Government announced that it would, if reƫlected, introduce a bill in the next session of the Diet to grant suffrage to all* male Japanese subjects, except paupers, insane, etc. According to reports emanating from a British source, Japan is now seeking oil in Persia.
