¶ The President summoned a conference to meet in Washington on May 22. The purpose of the meeting is to lay out a "national outdoor recreation policy." Assistant Secretary of the Navy Roosevelt is Chairman of the Committee in charge. Messrs. Weeks, Work, Wallace and Hoover are Honorary Chairmen to lend prestige to the movement to lure the public to arcadian pleasures and rustic delights.
