Lecture courses by prominent chemists were given on Plant Equipment in the Chemical Engineering Industries, Materials of Construction, Chemistry in Commerce. Classes of students from nearby universities were personally conducted by their professors. The General Electric Co. showed an automatic welding apparatus and an electric steam generator.
