Platon, picturesque Archbishop of the Orthodox (Russian) Church in the U. S., has been unfrocked by Moscow ecclesiastics, and by them deprived of all authority in this world or the world-to-come, by them branded as impostor. But Platon remains in New YorkÂthe unfrocking obviously cannot be literal. He remains and continues to be one of the most successfully advertised clericals in the country.
