Until the week ending July 28, 1923, when 1,041,044 cars were, loaded in the U. S., the record loadings had been 1,018,539 established Oct. 14, 1920. Now another high record for all time has been established during the week ending Aug. 25, when 1,069,932 cars were loaded.
