The fact that stock prices are in the main hesitant is impressing Wall Street, as well as other communities who realize their record as a business barometer. Industrial shares have been irregularly weak, and the general market without strong trend up or down. This may be a "technical reaction" after the great previous price rise, or it may express far-sighted doubts as to business next fall. Undoubtedly the market is now in a better technical position, however, and the drop of call money under 5% has not been without a favorable effect...
