Near closing time in the dining room of St. Louis' Gateway Hotel last week, six customers were lingering over their table. "Why don't you boys get out so I can go home?" said the white woman cashier. Unfortunately, the "boys" happened to be delegates to the annual conference of the National Committee of Black Churchmen, which was being held in the hotel.
