"I am not as young as I was," sighed the Mayor of New York City last fortnight. It was four o'clock in the afternoon and he had just reached his office for a day's work. "However, I am glad to be of service." Mayor Walker had been celebrating his 47th birthday, beginning with a banquet the previous midnight, tendered by the Friars Club of New York, music by Paul Whiteman.
