Work Done. The U. S. Senators: ¶ Debated the resolution by Senator Walsh of Montana to investigate public utility corporations, their profits & policies (TIME, Dec. 26); voted 40 to 36 to send it to the Committee on Interstate Commerce.

¶ Passed a resolution of regret at the death of Senator Andrieus Aristieus Jones of New Mexico; adjourned immediately in his honor, until Jan. 4.
