¶ The President did poetic justice. Last week, after due consideration, he appointed Judge Wallace McCamant of Portland, Ore., Judge of the U. S. Circuit Court of Appeals. In 1920, after due consideration, Wallace McCamant rose in the Republican National Convention at Chicago, after the weary siege when Mr. Harding was nominated, named Calvin Coolidge for Vice President.
