Playing through a serious rainstorm over the windswept Knollwood course at Lake Bluff, near Chicago, the University of Chicago's "Maroon" team slashed drives from wet tees, mashied onto muggy greens, sank putts into brimful cups, to win the Big 10* golf championship last week. Best golf for the day was played by Ralph Kunstadter, University of Illinois, with two rounds of 79.
