Again and again the question arises as to the possibility of infection from books taken from public libraries. French physicians, Drs. Touchais and Moureau, have found germs of tuberculosis on the pages of books subjected to experiment after four or five months. Nevertheless, extensive studies made in this country cause physicians to believe that the chance of infection from such material is slight.
