Foreign News: Pipes

A cargo of "Swiss mountaineers, young ladies in riding habits, and young; ladies without riding habits or much of anything else," all of which had been touched by the lips of onetime Kaiser Wilhelm, arrived last week in the U. S. They were human figures carved exquisitely upon 70 pipes once belonging to the former Emperor, and recently acquired by Henry W. Faulhaber of Pittsburgh. They were valued at $15,000.
