Suddenly a few weeks ago letters began coming from the Postoffice with BRITISH GOODS ARE THE BEST stamped on them in the cancellation marking. Last week a storm blew up. Some had discoveredwho could have believed it?some one had discoveredwas it deliberate treason? some one had discovered that the machines which stamped patriotic legend were made in the U. S., had replaced British-made canceling machines.
